		"White She–reindeer" (1981). Tempera, cardboard. 61 x 66cm. Stanyslav TORLOPOV, Komi National Fine Arts Gallery. The motive, once observed and later transformed by the painter's creative imagination acquires the meaning of the world–order formula. The eternal circle, formed by the reindeers' bodies, protects a white she–reindeer with her new-born baby in the centre. Her beauty is associated with pagan mythological northern Goddess – Great Mother (probably Zarni Ań?), the Mistress of the Universe. Capacious, semantically filled composition calls up the images of the Permian animal style.
